Advanced Yoga Instructor
Emma is from the UK. She trained as a contemporary dancer at the University of Chichester, and later went on to attain her PGCE teaching qualification teaching BTEC and A level dance in further education as Head of Dance. The creative process and working with young adults is where she found her love for using movement as a form of therapy.
As a qualified yoga therapist Emma runs small group and 1:1 yoga sessions, ranging from energising and dynamic to restorative and therapeutic. Her classes are also influenced by her dance training, offering challenging and creative elements and unique flow sequences. She has created a yoga course specifically for dancers to increase strength both physically and mentally, improve flexibility and control of anxiety in performance. With a background in education Emma is passionate about bringing yoga into schools, colleges and universities, and teaches family and children’s yoga.
Emma also teaches corporate yoga, bringing simple tools into the office to encourage a healthier, vibrant, more successful working environment, inspiring people to reach their fullest potential in all areas of their lives.
