Alex has been practicing yoga with full commitment, love and dedication religiously for the past 3 years.
She started her career working in retail Management and soon realized her passion belonged elsewhere.
Alex believes yoga isn’t just about gaining flexibility and strength, its about creating balance and awareness, not just within your practice but also as part of your life.its about learning to love yourself and building a connection both spiritually and emotionally.
Alex’s personal practice is Ashtanga focussed however she enjoys teaching various styles of Yoga, regularly teaching Vinyasa Flow, Power Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga and Pranayama Breathing.. She completed her 200hr RYTT Teacher Training at Upaya Yoga School in Goa, India; a very traditional training programme where she was taught all different types and aspects of Yoga by her teachers Dr. Ganesh Rao and Krishna Sharma. her training covered: Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga, different types of Pranayama breathing Techniques, Yoga Anatomy, Patanjalis Yoga Sutras, Ayurvedic approach to Asana practice, Alignment and Adjustment Techniques, Meditation, Trataka and Yoga Nidra.
